About me

Hi everyone! My name is Ainslie and I am the proud owner of Ainslie's Library. I'm a 21-year-old who would rather read books and spend time with Jesus than have a traditional college experience. I'm a senior in college studying criminal justice. I accepted a position as Kids Ministry Director at my church! It will become full-time once I graduate from Coastal Carolina University!

As I mentioned on my welcoming page, I started a Bookstagram page in my junior year in high school. I was in study hall and scrolling through my personal Instagram feed. I saw a lot of people had accounts dedicated to their love of reading and in the spur of the moment decided I wanted to join. It's probably my most spontaneous decision that ever worked in my favor. After 2 years of Booksta I branched out to BookTok. I was exposed to so many more reading recommendations and friends. I am now officially starting a BookTube in August of 2023. I am very excited to navigate this new social media site.

I mainly read romance and young adult books but an occasional fantasy can't hurt! Also being in many crime classes I can love a good murder mystery or true crime. What are some of your favorites?
